Internship Opportunities

Internship positions are available at our San Francisco and Washington DC offices. Interns at CJCJ can provide research assistance on various projects and assist with the production of reports and releases to promote needed reforms in criminal justice policy.

Past interns have gained valuable experience working on policy research on topics ranging from Reentry and the California Youth Authority to quantitative research about disproportionate minority confinement in juvenile detention nationwide.

An intern should have the following basic qualifications: good research and writing skills, ability to work with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds, basic knowledge of web searching and word processing, flexibility and creativity. Volunteer Opportunities
