Internship Opportunities

Internship positions are available at our San Francisco, California offices.  Interns at CJCJ provide a wide range of support to our administrative, managerial, and direct service staff.  Dependent on the agency’s particular needs at the time, interns can provide research assistance on various projects and assist with the production of reports and releases to promote needed reforms in criminal justice policy.  Please be informed that direct contact with clients is often minimal to none.  Rarely do interns have the opportunity to assist in the direct service aspect of our programs, but such possibilities may occasionally exist.

Past interns have gained valuable experience working on policy research on topics ranging from Reentry and the California Youth Authority to quantitative research about disproportionate minority confinement in juvenile detention nationwide.
