The Sierra Health Foundation launched their Positive Youth Justice Initiative (PYJI) in 2012, to improve the outcomes of young people with a history in the child welfare system and now engaged in the juvenile justice system, often referred to as crossover youth. PYJI does this by providing technical assistance to 6 counties over a 2‑year period and partnering with nationally recognized practitioners in the field. Learn more about PYJI »
CJCJ has been providing wraparound services to justice-involved youth in San Francisco since 2009, and is assisting PYJI counties with establishing similar options in their local jurisdictions. Today, CJCJ’s Daniel Macallair, Dinky Manek Enty, and Danielle Evans, presented a webinar on Wrapping Justice Involved Youth.
